My wife gets the Marauder today for a road trip to Erie.
I get to take her Taurus to work.
Wow. what a dissapointment.
My right thumb keeps trying to change the radio stations.
I am considering ordering in for lunch instead of the usual 12:00 road trip.
Tomorrow I get my car back!

You know thats the one feature I miss everytime I drive my wifes truck.
It's also the only feature she likes about the Marauder!

Humm, my Taurus was laid out just like the Marauder. Insturment cluster, console shift, in fact I think it is the same shifter. Also the buttons on the steering wheel. It was a 1998 Taurus SE Limited and they only made 517 of them like it.
Well, except for the rear wheel drive and the 300hp thinggy :)

She asked me very nicely this morning, practically begging. I should have said well, ok BUT YOU CAN"T TAKE IT TO ERIE!
But, I then again we are going to be together at home for the next 3 days so being a selfish bastard was probably a bad call..
I ended up going out for lunch and the drive was so mundane. I feel so ....uninspired.. :(
Could part of the anger of road rage be the depression and frustration of driving a car you don't like? Hmmmmm.

I've got a 2003 Taurus wagon I drive at work sometimes. I drove it home last night, right beside my wife in the Marauder. I just kept thinking "I really like this little car". It's not Marauder, but it's a nice little car, especially with the 24V engine. It's got the same power curve as the Marauder, it's just farther down the chart. Another + is that my oldest daughter loves the "special seat" - the rear facing seat in the wagon.
I may buy one for running around in if gas continues to climb.

Well yes the Taurus is a nice car. Yet,
The Taurus is to exitement like "oodles of noodles" are to nutrition. Just not very satisfying..
Given the choice between the two without money considerations I bet I know where you would be sitting.
