Mine have been in the trunk since 5000 miles. Cheaper to wear out the carpet than replace the mats. But the plastic heel pad is rough on my heel since I take my shoes off when I get in the car.

Would these fit?

I never realised that but it's funny how true that is.. about it being cheaper to hunt down the carpet over the mats, much as I'd love to use my Original mats for look it's worth it for these cars to save the factory ones

The answer is to just use Vic mats...

I buy $20.00 mats at Wally World....... My originals have never seen the sole of a shoe.

Every few months I go to my local self serve junkyard and pick up a few Panther floor mats. They are a buck a piece and I don't care what color they are.

Here here!!! I have charcoal gray rubber-backed bathroom mats from Bed Bath & Beyond (I have their Universal Remote, too). They're soft and fluffy and easy to throw in the washer. I think mine are 10 years old now. My OE mats are still showroom new.
