I'm asking for a friend.

Let's say I was adding a trilogy to a low mile bone stock marauder and adding headers.
And let's also say I lived in Texas.

With money leftover for the build should I
A: change the exhaust
B: add a killer chiller
C: all of the above (is NOT in the budget)

An exhaust chiller, or a killer exhaust.. TX, killer chiller would be my guess

Add big brakes and a charcoal filter in the drivers seat cushion

I have a DTR, it's all about going slow, in a 4.6

Except I don't have a 4.6, that could be an issue.

The trilogy and headers should take care of the performance department.

Adding big brakes is a useful option.

And, don't forget the tune, that's usually $500.00.

Killer Chiller.

That's not a real challenge. I'll trade you my Dtr for your blue and you can try and make one of those fast.

Put the extra money in the gas tank and drive it.

Got some concerns about the KC

the Kc is technically an evap so sending the refrigerant to the car evap afterwards isn't really the best thing

Can someone shed some light on this I've seen all the KC videos on you tube, just want the ac too work like it does now

I've heard running es12a refrigerant keeps things almost cooler than stock but I have no personal experience.

On the suburban with rear ac the refrigerant exits both Evaps to the compressor then the condenser then there's a tee back to both evaps

cool air intake is your friend .

The KC can be ordered parallel or series. Most people do it in series. Parallel is a bit more work, you have to add a T, change to a different orifice valve for the cab evap, and add an expansion valve to the KC. It actually comes with a solenoid valve so you can shut off one side, but it is optional whether to use it.

My concern with the KC is wintertime. Some people totally eliminate the water-to-air heat exchanger and rely on the KC alone. If it's winter and you're running heat instead of AC, then you run the car hard for awhile, there is no way to get rid of the heat generated by the SC. Then you have high IAT and if the tune doesn't compensate adequately you end up with a hole in the side of the block.

Hit it with some Methanol....

Keeps the intake runners, valves and combustion chambers nice and clean too!

I talked with kincade performance today, gonna give it a shot and ordered the kit w bracket.
This MM doesn't get to see winters but the front heat exchanger may be blocked off w/ corrugated plastic sheet at first but he recommends adding a larger reservoir and removing the HE

That's a great idea Joe didn't realize how well it works, and you can get the juice at Walmarthttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170228/400543cd08d397ed1cd311ac3895be 63.jpg

That price is a joke I hope? Unless it's a case of four?? I have an alkicontrol kit (the best brand) that I bought off a member here and never bothered hooking it up that I'd let go. I even have a case of juice in stock!

I think swapping the eaton out is the next big expense, but still haven't ordered the BAP

I buy methanol for $3.00 per gallon at the race gas shop

$43.00 and that boost juice is only 50% meth. Lmao!! That's over $80.00 per gallon That's gotta hurt!!

How long does a gallon last?

I can get 100% Methanol* for less than $1.00 a gallon....but then..... I work for a chemical distributor....:D

*(VERY flammable to work with...should mix it 50:50 for Meth injection)

How long does a gallon last?

I always fill the cars container at 1/2 tank because of launching it causes the meth to slosh back

Probably 1/2 gallon to 8 1/4 mile passes with a hago m15 fitting

I use 100% meth, no water needed to cool the car down

I use it as a fuel supplement so I never use water. All Buick grand national guys run 100% meth

Also don't get it on your skin, you can go blind :(
