There were two versions of the marauder produced the US export and the Canadian version. As far as my research goes there were 480 total produced for the 03/04 years. Production was in the fall of 2002 for these canadian versions. My particular marauder was built on Nov.17/2002. As far as i can research it is a 300A. Some of the differences of the canadian models are the speedometer shows kilometers per hr. also daytime running lights mandatory in canadian models and the door information stickers are different than the US models . Also the window stickers are different than the US models.I would appreciate your comments and any information you wish to share.

From what I've learned the gauge pod by the floor shift has a slightly different appearance for Canadian vs us cars. Also Cad cars came with traction control standard for 300a's which you didn't get in the US. Coulda sworn I had read that it was 470 cars destined for Canada but who knows for sure.

471 Marauders were produced for Canada for 2003 / 2004 .
All Canadian cars had traction control and engine block heaters as well as KMH speedo and Canadian labels in metric in French and English .
417 Marauders were produced for Canada for 2003 / 2004 .

Are you sure? I had 471.

I typed wrong , Thanks Kirk
My mistake 471
I will edit my post
I've owned three of the 470 or 471 produced. A rare Canadian Blue, sold to a member here, from what I've heard an even rarer black 04 and finally the black 03 I purchased last year. As far as differences, the main is the speedo cluster, the day time running lights. Both 03's had buttons to turn off the traction control, can't remember if the 04 did. Either way weren't all the MM'S born in Canada anyway, St. Thomas Ontario so that makes them all Canadian.

Also owners manuals package had some differences and the jack storage and jacking instructions sheet were both French and English .
I plan on Getting my :canada: Marauder a MARTI report to see what else I can learn

A few Candadian ones ended up over here in Europe simply because it is more convenient to import them. 2 of the 6 cars we had at last years Euro-Marauderville were Canadian.

It was info I found on another Marauder forum that is now offline I think it was called Motorcity Marauders.
It had a thread talking about Canadian Marauders Steve Babcock and his Canadian counterpart talking about Canadian numbers came up with 471.

Speaking of the owners manual. Did anyone else get a crudely pasted on page that covers the original fluid fill specs towards the last pages of the manual? I'll post a picture later.

I believe I read somewhere on here long ago that all of the '03 Canadian Marauders were called 300A, but they were optioned like the US 300B. Traction control, mini-spare, no seat pockets in the front of the front seats, no remote gas door release. Add KM speedo and DRL.

My Marauders original sale sticker claimed it was a "300A" however the production date and indeed features say 300B... I have exactly what you said, Mini spare, no fuel release, Traction control, no seat pockets, KMH Speed etc.

No we had 300A here all the same options as US 300A ( dash clock / full spare / seat pockets remote gas door ).
My 2003 is a 300B

Sounds like you have a early manual modified for Canadian compliance .
On the back of my manual it says on the outside cover it says October 2003 SECOND PRINTING.
I am thinking your manual is for a 300A and they pasted the fluid fill specs in metric for Canadian compliance .
I would like to see a pic :)

Does anyone have a pic of what the gauge pod in the Canadian cars looked like? I would be interested in knowing what the differences are.

I have seen US cars gauge pod and they look the same to me .
They look identical to me , no different part numbers from Ford .

They are definitely different, one of my Marauder friends here in Germany has a Canadian one so we have compared them in detail. Instead of actually reading OIL and VOLTS, the Canadian gauge pods have an image of a battery and an oil can. This was done because if you put any text in a Canadian car it has to be billingual English/French and since there wasn't any space for that in the gauge pods they went with images instead.

All the dummy lights / radio etc have oil volts everything in English only ,
I do not think there is any difference in the gauge pod but I can not say for sure because my car is in winter storage until the end of May :canada::snowman::snowman:

Unless the gauge pods in my friends car are not original I'm sure that the Canadian version has images and the American version has text.
Unfortunately we didn't take any side by side interior pictures and I couldn't find any online so could anyone confirm this for us?

That's what I was talking about and I'm pretty sure that the gravy boat and battery symbol was the Canadian standard so if you have a scripted gauge I guess it must have been replaced at one point.

@OP: Did you ever get your Marti Report and were you able to get some more info about the Canadian models from it?
Would be interesting if those 471 could be broken down into colour, year and 300A/B model.
I've read elsewhere on this forum that they brake down into 346 for 2003 and 125 for 2004 but not sure if that's true.

Well I have a 2003, Canadian model, number sequence i don't know or care....
it does have Traction control button, trunk and gas cap power release, map pockets in the seats, mini spare, and the gauges do show an oil sign as well as a battery sign in the gauge pod.
BTW the window sticker I have from the original owner shows MSRP at just over 48K
and he purchased it for 43K that what the bill of sale shows from the dealer.
