I am not affiliated with this group but it seems like a cool event.

Straight from the Facebook event (https://www.facebook.com/events/662367090613976):

To begin our meet we will be meeting at Noon EST July 15th at Warren Dunes State Park (http://www.michigandnr.com/parksandtrails/Details.aspx?id=504&type=SPRK), located on the shores of Lake Michigan for a 2 hour meet and greet.
Being a state park there is a fee to enter, 9 dollars/day for out of state entrees, and 11 dollars for the annual pass for Michigan residents.

After we depart Warren Dunes State Park in Sawyer, we will cruise up Red Arrow Highway to St Joseph and return to Roxy's Hamburgers Drive-In (http://www.roxyshamburgs.com/) where we attended last year during the 1st Annual GLP Panther Party. They were an excellent host for us last year, and I look forward to our return trip there this year.

After Roxy's, we will take a short cruise through St Joseph along Lions Park Beach and Silver Beach before a quick regrouping at the Berrien County Courthouse (https://www.berriencounty.org/Courts) so we can organize for the longest leg of the event.

From there, we will jump onto M63 and head North a little ways to Coloma, where we will make our way to I-94 and head roughly an hour to US 131 Motorsports Park (http://www.us131msp.com) in Martin, Mi. They are putting on an event called "Street Racing Made Safe" that will feature a street racing type environment at the safety of the dragstrip. It runs from 5pm until midnight and is the first time they have run this type of event. Its 10 dollars per person to spectate, or, if you choose at your discretion, 25 dollars to run your car in the event. Doing so will require a helmet and protective clothing.

More information is available on this at us131msp.com and streetracingmadesafe.com

*Everyone MUST follow all traffic and local ordinance laws while at the event. That means no burnouts other than at the track, loud stereos in city limits, no lane blocking, speeding, obnoxious behavior, etc...
Here at GLP we strive to maintain a positive image of our group and these cars. If we feel you are being detrimental to this, you will be asked to leave, no exceptions. Don't be that guy.*

If you RSVP, please wait to do so until you are positive you will be coming. This keeps the headcount accurate for our locations and makes all of this easier. Thanks in advance and see you in July!!

As an update, it looks like 70 Panthers are RSVPd and over a hundred more clicked 'interested' on the Facebook event.

If anyone is interested in convoying in from Cleveland, PA, NY (or Detroiters wanting to meet up in Michigan beforehand) it looks like we're going to have a small a meetup outside Michigan International Speedway around 9am the day of the meet, and roll in together via I-94.

Note that this is open to Panthers of all flavors, 4V/2V/DOHC/LS-swapped, etc. :D

Yeah, it's less than an hour for you!

Quite frankly, I'm surprised there isn't more interest on CVN and MMN as I know there are plenty of members within ~1hr of the meet.
