Is it listed on your window sticker? Mine built in august 2002 does not have this feature.

Its a breeze to train for the garage door opener. Now I need to figure out what to use the other 2 buttons for. Maybe a macro to turn on the wide screen and HT when I pull in? :coolman:

It's showing up in more and more stuff. Here's a good place to START (http://www.homelink.com/home/home.tml).

I agree, it took me all of 1 minute to get it setup to open my garage door opener (Stanley brand), and the range is great - though I've modded my grare door opener, too...

I haven't had any luck getting mine to work. I've programmed and programmed. Sometimes it will work once or twice, but not reliable enough to leave my regular remote at home.

Some of the high end door openers use "rolling" codes on the remotes/receivers as a security feature. The code changes every time it is activated! If you read through the opener's install manual - there is (at least on my Sears unit) a feature to program the receiver to receive an additional "fixed" signal that dosen't change. Program the homelink with a code from the remote, then program the receiver with the code stored in the homelink! This of course kind of defeats the security feature of "rolling" codes - but that's life as they say!

Yes, they all have homelinks. All recent garage openers have rolling codes. To program, just follow the instructions in the Marauder Owners manual, it's pretty straight forward. There'll be a "Learn" button somewhere on the opener itself you'll need to push while programming the car's remote.

Mine works with the rolling code as well. But once in a blue moon it doesn't work. If I restart my car it does.
Just hard to find the right button in the dark!

If you have to many remotes for your garage door opener you will end up having trouble. Mine only allows for 5 remotes.
If you program a 6th one it screws up one of the other 5.
