No it wasn't but I know the owner of that specific marauder.
I met him driving around town coincidentally, I don't think he's on the forum. His names John n he has a stock black 300B

It is yes I believe he has the legacy plates

Mine is "O3 MERC"

I'm not sure of what His plates read

Unlikely

This guy is mid 30s, red hair and beard, lives around the concannon and arroyo intersection

But I think I have also seen the " older " gentlemen described in the thread you posted
