You have to drill the holes regardless.

bought it !! you are rite , way better price . old saying around here is ,Pigs get fed and Hoggs get slaughtered " . every body thinks they have gold . that's why all those high dollar Marauders sit on e bay and elsewhere and collect dust . again thanks for the e bay tip , I missed that .

The NEW one is OEM, but not for a Marauder.

required in Illinois . hate to drill holes Then there's the Hide a plate type holder. No holes in the bumper cover but you do need to drill holes. Haggis (Gordon) put this on his car. Been meaning to order one for mine. I will not drill my bumper.

does anyone know for sure do the new OEMs mount to the same holes. The original MM had four locations for screws to mount to the bumper the new OEM only has the two upper ones. But the two upper holes look like they are in the same location as the MMs. That would be nice to know for those of us who live in states that require front license plates as well as require drivers to back into the front of your car while leaving their parallel parking spot! :mad2:

Not on my car and I'm an original owner. Took it off for the first time ever yesterday and there were four screws. Of course that's not to say it wasn't supposed to be riveted. I'm sure the idiot dealer I went to (who is no longer in business) probably took the easy way out and used screws.

Which still begs to get an answer - do the two top mounting holes match up with the new OEM and the original OEM Marauder one,

just some useful , useless , info on a front plate . 6w7z-17a385-aa fits marauder just fine . 16.00 e bay . take those high dollar oems and hang em on the wall . some times it pays to have that plate on the front in a required state . especially if you have a few and officer friendly decides to inform you that your front plate is gone . Illinois S$#@ks . really 100.00 e bay ???? delvd ???????

Which brings up another question, for those of us living in states that do not require the front license plate. If anyone has removed the plate holder, what did they use to cover the holes.

Anybody have pegs for the holes, sorry Zack couldn't let the peg thing go.

I'll take an extra one. As for the holes a few people have said they had a boddy shop fill the holes and paint the bumper.

just a cheap idea . buy small plastic plugs , sand down the head and touch up with your colr and be done for peanuts . or take it to the body shop and pay the price . my 2 cents .

I was actually thining along those lines. Maybe a button head bolt or rubbery plug painted silver birch. A small button head would look better than the big boxy plate holder.
