Costco doesn't seem to carry the right size and tirerack only has Kuhmos.

There are so many different sizes you can run that wear and perform better than the stock tires.

Pep Boys, Discount Tires, National Tire & Battery. I bought my Nitto Motivo fronts at National, but had to go to Discount for the rear Motivos. They didn't carry 255s.

This and if your not in a rush sometimes the manufacturers have rebates. Probably a lot going on right now for the holiday.

Yes, the stock sizes appear to be the problem.

I bought the stock sizes in the coopers from Pep boys while they were running a buy 3 get one free special. The tires have performed fine but seem to be wearing fast (rears). I have zero burnouts on them.

How do you like the Nittos?

They're wonderful all season tires. Unfortunately my MM is my DD, so that means I drive it during the winter. There were Hankook tires on when I bought the car, and the 1st winter snow was scary. Second gear would hit and the car started going sideways at low speeds. I don't have that problem with the Nittos.

i would prolly up the rear psi a couple, most had same issue with the original BFG's that they wore quicker at lower psi. As Charlie posted, 38 for rears was pretty common for a lot to use over the years.

I can get the Nittos locally. I think I'll go that route. Thanks!
