So have a few issues I need some help with. One is that the parking lights don't come on unless I hit the horn. Then the turn signals turn on on the gauge cluster, but don't blink. But the horn doesn't work when I hit it, but horn works, directly connected to battery and it honked. And for some reason, the low beams are brighter than the high beams. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. My other issue is that I don't know what the hose that connects to the thing circled in red goes to... like what does the other end go to?... thanks

Bad connections

Bad grounds.

The hose connects to coolant.

The hose goes towards the back of the engine and plugs onto the coolant hard line that travels between the heater core and under the intake to the back of the water pump.

As for your electric. Some of the stuff you mentioned happens to go though the clock spring behind the steering wheel. Any chance you disconnected the steering shaft and turned the steering wheel by itself lately?

Had a 2002 crown Vic last week with those issues, but it also slammed the air ride so far down the tow truck drug the tail pipes pretty bad

There's a ground wire from the fuse panel next to the battery that screws to the metal portion of the fender. It supplies ground to all the relays in the fuse panel

Fixed that and the bags aired up, car would start, all good

Funny is only 1 key would start the car, but it would only run with the headlights turned off!!! It's a 02, so it's a little different, but ground is ground

You don't need a mechanic, you need an exorcist. [emoji48] Or a witch doctor.

There is nothing for it to connect to. Unless I have something hooked up wrong.

You have a Mach 1 coolant pipe to the water pump, also used on Trilogy cars.
It is no longer able to be used with this config. Don't worry about it.

The black line on the DFPE valve goes to the vacuum port below and rearward of the throttle body

So what do I do? Sorry for the stupid question, just confused. I know that line goes somewhere.

You leave it alone. It's an intake manifold heater for cars in ridiculously cold climates

So I leave it unplugged or do I cap it?

pic #3... is the other side of the egr heater connected to anything?

pic #2... that is for the vapor recovery system.

pic#1... I believe it connects to vacuum at the intake manifold.
