I just ordered an auto meter 4379 wide band air/fuel gauge and was wondering where the best spot to put the O2 bung is. I'm planning on installing in the collector on the driver's side header. (Kooks long tubes).

As for the gauge I don't have a lot of real estate in my dash due to all the gauges installed by the previous owner, is there a recommended pillar mount that fits well?

Lastly my back is a mess due to a recent surgery is there a suitable spot on the firewall driver's side for the gauge wiring to pass through?

Thanks!

Jim

There is a dual gauge pod as well. Says it is a direct fit.

I'd rather be annoyed by lights than to eat a motor because I went lean.....

I run the wiring through one of the two grommet plugs in the floor right in front of the drivers seat, then exit and go directly to the sensor at the collector.

I did this as well. Bung in the side of the collector so i didn't have to take them off to do it.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll definitely run the wiring through the grommet in the floor as it will make my life much easier. As for the brightness of the gauge I can always put the a/f into one of the pods on the dash and move the fuel pressure gauge to the piller.

Now once the motor boat that's parked in front of my car in the storage facility gets moved, I'll be able to get the car home and can get to work. I'll be doing some data logging and I've been in touch with Marty O to work on a tune.

Thanks again fellas, great tips and suggestions!
