I have not researched much yet but there seems to be a few kits available. Any of you guys here have a preference? I am not against finding spindles and other parts from other vehicles either. I appreciate any guidance.

Easiest is either the TCE or Zack upgrade.

If you go to the FE site http://www.network54.com/Forum/74182/search
and search for 64 Galaxie disc brakes there are a few threads that should help. Looks like there are several 70s models that will work, in addition to one or two kits.

Here is a link to 64 Galaxie conversions, so you can pick your rotor size and lug spacing to your liking. Brake boosters might be a little tight in your engine compartment though. You should be able to find T-bird and LTD stuff all day long.
