Car looks great Marty, but what's with the prop rod? Also was the blue Sunbeam a Tiger or an Alpine?

Probably because even the suggested hood strut part number from class glass even warps the hood.. I used struts and fender mounts from a '90's Intrepid to achieve a far better hood height when up and zero pressure from the struts when closed.

See, I didn't even disconnect the struts. Win!

Here's my write up from like six years ago.

I'm pretty certain all years Dodge Intrepid are the same regarding hood struts.

Thank You JustBob.
How are you Motown? Yes, It's been a very long process. I'm saving now for a KillerChiller. I hope to have it very soon. They now make a bracket for mounting in the Marauder bumper at no extra charge when ordering a unit for the Marauder. They said the best results was 2 to 3 gallons for heat transfer and cooling purposes. I'm staying with the 5 gallon reservoir I have mounted in the trunk and putting something in the tank to displace a gallon or so.
