Ok thanks thats what i was thinking but i thought the water pump was on the bottom left. how do i get the pulley off? It spins in both directions when i tried to take off the 4 bolts.

Put the belt back on or take an old belt and wrap it around and hold it with one hand while loosening the bolts

Because you will have the system open, be sure to use the fill/burp procedure or will get an air pocket and overheat

If you have to ask how to get the pulley off, you should take this to a qualified mechanic.

That's where I was going. Step one: THE EASY PART and gets an F.

Hope you used a FORD water pump... I was 500 miles from and settled for one from Advance Auto, that was the only place around. It went a year later....I then got the Ford water pump and no troubles since....

Modular water pumps are some of the easiest automotive ones to do, simply because they only have a few bolts and only use an o-ring. But like anything, if you have never done it then there might always be a little trepidation. Better to ask than to do a bad job or ruin the parts.
