So I get a UPS in the morning. And at 5 ish o'clock. I get a phone call from my wife. Saying the mail man was there. so she signed for it. So I got two gauges and two 6 foot lines. LMFAO HA HA HA !

I bet if it's me, I'd call the seller and make it right with them, because that's the right thing to do, not being hateful, just honest. Just the way my parents raised me.

By keeping said merchandise. The seller will need to make it up somehow, and that will be raised prices for future customers, but as long as you get yours, it's all good.

I put a mechanical oil pressure gauge in my Merc and then daily drove it another 100,000 miles with zero problems. If installed correctly it's fine but not for everybody. There's risk in lots of stuff i guess.

I've held my tongue, but I'll speak up.

Two weeks ago I accidentally sent a tuner to someone who did not pay. I screwed up. It was my fault for rushing and trying to exceed customer expectations. It cost me because the recipient read the same book of ethics as Redrum. A major disappointment to me that this took place and it ate me up because I expect ethics from folks just like they expect from me. I was let down by that recipient.

And, what would I have done in this sort of situation? I would have returned it. It's the
right thing to do. How do I know? Summit sent me two radiators to the commercial shop. I did not order them. I called Summit, they issued call tags and back the radiators went. Just like they should have. And just like the oil pressure gauge should have here.

Honestly Redrum, you handled this poorly. I'm disappointed. No hate, just disappointment.

I ordered shirts from a vendor and I received them after a few days. A week later I received another pair of the same shirts. He accidentally sent me the same order twice. Also how are you blowing sending units? I'm on 8 years on a autometer sending unit and it hasn't showed any issues at all. 100psi on cold temps and it sweeps like it did when new.

I imagine he has a bad oil pump, it will only be a matter of time till other parts start failing, you can have "too much" oil pressure, sooner or later he will wash the bearings or kill the tensioners for the timing chains.

Even did this with with being given two extra bags of mulch at Lowes. Drove all the way back there to return them and the guy was surprised we did that LOL. I went through a bucketload of sending units. Finally got tired of replacing them and went with the mechanical gauge. No more problems. Several others have had similar problems. It's not pressure that kills them, maybe vibration?

My original sender died about 30 days after I installed it. Autometer sent me a new one... just one and it has worked flawlessly since then.
