Took the Marauder to have the abs unit service bleed. They said the computer would not communicate. What to do now?

A little more info? Wouldn't communicate with the ABS module or with the PCM?

It was the ford dealership less than a mile away, don't know what they used but I think I'll try jumping terminals at the plug w/bleeders open

My ABS light was on and I just thought it was my car's way of telling me I need to start doing situp's and lose some weight because the SRS sensor in the seat was under so much stress.

They should have an IDS, no clue why they couldn't make that work?

Apparently because IDS to them means that when you ask them if they know what that means, they say

I
Don't !
"****"

Stop asking!!!

Last week I tried to diagnose abs and brake lights on my dash with a cheap OBD II scanner and a Snap-on Modis. Both said the same thing, communication failure. I checked every related fuse and relay all we're good. I did some research and found the ABS modules are known to fail on 03-08 panthers. New ABS modules come complete for about $800 or you could remove the electronic part and send it off to be repaired. https://youtu.be/iSEkAD8H7GE You could also look on eBay for marauder ABS module repair. The company offers two options, one is it that you send yours in and they rebuild it, it's like $100. The other is they send you one and you send yours back, but it's $199 after the core charge. I will be sending mine out this week.

Or just do an ABS delete. [emoji6]

The ABS on this car is the worst I've ever tried to use!

Got a modis ultra to try tomorrow (thanks ed and nick). What's nice is the module pin out is on the program. Hopefully we won't need that.

So the modis ultra tool communicated fine with the abs module and service bleed got completed, yippee. Now on to the faulty injector
