So finally have all but 2 things done. Programmed the car with MartyO tune and was about to start it when we spelled fuel. Turns out it was leaking from the passenger fuel rail. So excited to finally get it running and start it today, but yea didn't happen

I know how you feel, been working on my project car, the Fairlane, for the past 3 years so I'm very excited to finally bring it on the road this summer.
Hang in there buddy, looking forward to hit up shows and cruises with you when it's all finished!

If it were easy everyone would be doing it. It all starts with money, but ends in patience.. (and more money typically)

so close, I hear that. We loaded the tune and brought it up to temp with the cot plug out and couldn't stand the belt noise. While it was running I put the stethoscope to the idlers I could reach on the supercharger belt and two were moving and noisy all were w gates pulleys. When I returned them to Oreillys they blew me some s%&t about bad pulleys but replaced them anyway. Installed those and expecting it to be fixed it was just as bad.
Again checked everything with the stethoscope and same thing. We pulled them again and this time put them on a old tensioner bracket. Spun them on a wire wheel and wow terrible. We returned those to a different Orielliys to avoid any feed back bought bearing and installed them in the ford pulleys and those spun on the tensioner perfectly. Installed those and now we could hear the primary belt was loud as well, we pulled everything off again to get to that belt and replaced the bearing in the ford pulleys and put those back on everything nice and quite. just have some new used gates idlers w/ and w/o grooves 6 rib and 8 rib.
Still working on the abs bleed and while the car was in the air I noticed the tranny was wet where nothing is installed or gasketed. After getting up close found a pin hole in the casting, we pulled the trans (which is way easier now) removed the tail shaft housing, got it repaired yesterday and tonight we install the tranny. While the tranny was out we installed the boost a pump. So close
Id post vids but get bored trying
