Can anyone tell me where to start looking since I have a very faint fuel odor that is only noticed with the AC on at a stoplight!!
When I pull into the garage and shut it down the smell is there again as the engine cools off!!:argue:
No apparent stains around injectors or fuel rails but it's really faint!!:shake:
Suggestions??

Check the Fuel pressure regulator.

No fuel then I'd just leave it.

Any other ideas??
Any other ideas??
By process of deduction, It can only be:
-fuel injector o-ring
-soft line connecting both rails
-DPFE sensor or the hoses attached to it.

I had one injector leak a little when I installed the ProCharger and it was obvious from the staining.......
I've looked at all connections and see no evidence so I guess fuel rails are next??

No cracked DPFE hoses and no apparent leaks!!:shake:
What next??

Check the vacuum line behind the throttle body for cracks (the rubber part). It delivers vapor from the DFPE to the manifold

Took the line off the TB and blew into it.....NO LEAKS.....NOW WHAT!!??:(
Has to be a small crack in a flexible line I guess??
The evaporative fuel line connections are sealed by oring - it is possible you have one or more oring failures. Maybe. I don't know for sure, but its an idea.
The hard plastic line on passenger side connects a metal line from the rear of the car to the DPFE sensor/valve, and has an oring at each connection. Then another hard plastic line connects the sensor/valve to the throttle body (the one you blew in, I think). It has an oring at the sensor/valve connection. I don't know the sizes of the orings, maybe a little gasket sealant added to the connection/oring would do the trick?
Or maybe the DPFE sensor/valve is failing/cracked somehow?
