You can't make it louder and keep the same sound.
Anything you do will change the sound.

There is no original sound except for a small purr. Mufflers make a huge difference and rear cat removal bolsters that muffler sound. My Flowmaster Super 40s are silent at idle and hell unleashed when accelerating.

While it's illegal at the federal level to remove the cats in ANY state, I guess seeing that you're from the Jesse Ventura State means there's no emissions inspection, so removing the rear cats won't trigger any uproar.

yes, a section of stainless exhaust tubing goes in its place, my car has no rear cats and has headers and an aftermarket front cat, so i don't know the factory setup.
