Seems like a good idea. Anyone here try this and what were your results?

Mothers Back to Black seems to do well.

I tried a lot of the wipes and stuff at the LAPS and they either don't work or wear off quickly. So was looking for something more long term. Not sure if I have that one but I'll look and try it also. Tried the Turtlewax version, didn't work. Etc.

Let me know how it turns out.

What about all that overspray?? I assume it just rubs off? Never used the stuff.

Get a clay bar too for the overspray. I can think of 30,000 ways to make rubber look good. Spraying it with Plasti-Dip would be at the bottom of the list. Next week: How to remove gaudy pinstripes with acetone and skim milk.

After thinking about the Plasti-Dip I decided to go a different route.

After thinking about the Plasti-Dip I decided to go a different route.

Please give me the directions of this route please, the plasti dip in my opinion will ruin the smooth rubber look.

there are plenty of "back to Black" products on the market that work well and last for a while.
