I have a 2011 Lincoln MKS w/ ecoboost.
I was upgrading my brakes to 2016 Taurus SHO brakes.
I ordered BRFC208 and 209 caliper and the BRC28and 29 Caliper bracket.
For the pad I ordered Wagner thermo quiet QC1508.
The brake pad did not fit the new caliper, But did fit the old caliper.
I had no choice to use the new pad and put the old equipment back on.
What should be the correct part for the pad?
Was the wrong pad in the box?

Thanks for your help.

So after giving Rock auto back ground for my situation here was there answer:

We do not have technicians on staff and cannot advise on upgrading your brakes. Also please be advised that installing parts on a vehicle for which they are not intended would void the warranty and since your cores are not the same as the part you purchased they could not be returned for a refund of the core credit.

That being said, I have looked into what you described in regards to the 2016 Taurus and it seems that these pads were listed in error. They should have listed that they will work except if you have the SHO package. We will update our catalog but it seems since you have already installed the pads you received, they will work for the vehicle which you actually have.

Thank you,
