Hey guys I need to know who to support or where to buy parts for our classic Mercury. I am having trouble finding a rear window seal for our 4 door fastback. I bought a trunk seal that I thought would fit itbut it is a generic piece so I need one of those too. I am pretty sure I was able to locate everything else. Any help would be great thanks!

Try Steele Rubber Products

http://www.steelerubber.com/

A good North Carolina company!

Maybe try macsautoparts.com or dearbornclassics.com. I've purchased from both companies and never had a problem.

One of the best things you can do is figure out what will and won't interchange with a Galaxie. Your back window seal won't, but lots of the other parts will, I think including the trunk seal. There are several places where you can get reproduction Galaxie parts. These include Greg Donahue in FL, MACs, Dennis Carpenter, Autokrafters, and more.

I have a small number of '64 parts, and there are others out there who might. IMOA contacts could be helpful also. The other 3 Marauders I've owned in the past were all bought as parts cars for my '63.

Reach out if I can help.

The guys that run those companies AND run the phones are very knowledgeable. I'll bet they could get you in touch with someone that knows for sure.

Last I heard was that Greg Donahue retired and sold his inventory to another vendor who at that time wasn't ready to put it out for sale yet.
