Ok so I've had my car back for a month and after Friday at the track I figured I've had enough time behind the wheel that it's time to give props where props are due. Big shout out to Marty, Jeff and the whole team at Mo's Speed Shop for making my car F*$%ING Awesome. I've been just trying to put some miles on it and do some burnout studies with a few spirited pulls analysis at different RPM's and MPH and just WOW. Sent my car there in late October or early November cause we were having some issues with remote tuning the car and my wideband. And to make a short story long come to find out the motor was on the verge of dying, which I already suspected cause whom ever owned the car before me had done an Eaton swap and had a 4#lower and a 2.76 upper and was over spinning the crap out of the hEaton on a stock motor. I purchased the car as a project and that it was. I wasn't looking at throwing that much money at it as soon as I did but they sweet talked me and before I knew it the build was underway. Luckily I had already started stock piling parts for a future build so that helped out. Had a Kellogg crank, 8 bolt flywheel and Manley rods all that was missing was the pistons. They got the motor as soon as they got it back from the machine shop and I told Jeff that I knew as soon as they got it back together that the transmission was going to go out and he was like "naw" low and behold as soon as he was tuning it he called me and said "you called it bud, you were right" as if I didn't know my luck or lack there of. So on to chapter two of the build which was the transmission. After he called with the sad news I said ok give me a couple of weeks to scrounge up the money. Got a new torque converter and they pulled the transmission and had it built and the world was right again. After dynoing it and driving it and putting a few miles on it Marty finally called and said she's ready whew was I relived I don't think I could have scrounged up any more money. Made plans to pick up the car that weekend. I got there BS'd with Marty, Jeff and Val for a little while and off to the hotel I went. Got to the hotel after calling Marty about a hiccup I had an issue with. Low and behold Marty and Jeff loaded up there '78 Trans Am service vehicle and drove all the way to my hotel to check out car and everything checked out, talk about customer service. When I got home I found the issue, it was a pin hole in the heater core hose and they still haven't fulfilled that Lifetime Bump-to-Bumper Warranty they promised me when I picked up the car that should have taken care of that hose. Either way, once again BIG THANKS to Mo's Speed Shop for making my car awesome and look forward to doing business with them again in the future, not only were there prices reasonable but the turn around time was topnotch and just the nicest shop that I've worked with in a long time. I know a bunch of you on the forum have had dealings with Marty and Mo's but for those whom haven't I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO. Thanks again Marty and Jeff.

680 miles away for me. had it transported by top notch carrier (worth it to me to pay premium transport vs a claim or some yahoo no speaka english driver) I'll go get it when finished.

What numbers are you running now with what pulley combo?

Being that far north do you really need a killer chiller? It's nice like what five or six days a year?

When we charged the a/c after running the car for 500 miles and checked the intercooler water temp we chuckled, it was 60* and it was 85 out
The marauder will be at Mos next week for its tune. Our first experience two years ago was spot on,

The clamps that comes with the KC unit had me wondering what to use to pinch then shut and found these in my antique tool collection (probably not antique) but they worked effortlessly.

I'll join in on the shout out to Mo's Speed Shop- Whenever I go there to get my Marauder serviced I see cars from other states like Florida, Ohio, NY etc., I realize how fortunate I am to live only 44 miles away from them!

Nobody knows more about Marauders, and their prices are reasonable.
Marty, Jeff, Val and the crew always do a fantastic job on my Marauder and treat me like family too!

Here's a nice shot at Mos, another great tune, 470/466, somehow fit it in at a short notice, provided additional modifications to intake air, and done by lunch,
Thanks out loud to Mos

I have a 4# lower on it now, I am getting a 2.93 upper tune and I am installing the KC.

I don't have 98 cobra cams not going too. I don't have kooks ceramic coated headers cause I have SW headers. I don't have high flow cats because I don't have cats. I don't have and x-pipe I have an h-pipe built by Jeff. I don't have super 10s cause I have Magnaflows. And the list goes on. So again sir I believe you have me confused with someone else.

I'm thinking you'll hate it Bud. My 2.8 w/+4 generated more heat than power. I peaked at 20.5 once but averaged 19#s on average and all it did was kill power. Not too sure a KC is up to that task.

Even the paint was cracking off the top of the Trilogy along with burn marks. And plastic items such as my MAF were melting and getting disfigured! I would have made more power at only 15/16.

Heat is the number 1 killer but overall efficiency of the blower and inlet is runner up.

thats why i have a 2 lb lower as well.. I remember you telling me of the heat on your set up on trilogy. will have Jeff see what does what. porting helps with some heat, but it's still a heaton based blower.
