So the Silver Birch has been out of winter hibernation for about a week or so and needed a couple things taken care of before I could get on the road.

Driving my Marauder after a long cold winter, following Mr. Man in his '03 JPB out to Harrisburg to meet fellow Marauder- loving friends for a long weekend at Carlisle All Ford National...don't see how it gets much better than that!

Oh hey Ms. Denmark I actually drove my Marauder to Denmark last month. ;)

Here it is parked at the North Sea Shore on the Danish west coast in the town of Esbjerg and the second photo was taken at Lakolk Beach on the Danish island of Rømø.

I was going to take another picture in front of the welcome sign at the border crossing but it was hammering down with rain so I didn't really want to get out the car.

Wouldn't it be great if we could all ship our Marauders across the big pond and join up with MGDriver hitting the autobahn for a great cruise through western Europe. It's been 30 years since I have been there, but I imagine the beautiful landscapes still exist as shown by MGDriver.

So let me ask you, what is it that makes you Ms. Denmark? Are you originally from Denmark?

You guys are more than welcome to join us at Euro-Marauderville III on September, 1st-3rd this year so we can do an even bigger Autobahn takeover than last year.

I had looked into the price of shipping my Silver Birch to Germany.
Port Elizabeth to Hamburg - duration: five weeks, and $ 1200.

Wow, that's less than I would have thought. Once there is there any thing else that would have to be done in order to be able to drive it? And I'm assuming it's $1200 each way.

You would need to buy seperate insurance coverage as I doubt your insurance would let you drive over here, let alone cover you if anything happens.

Be warned though, insurance in Germany is expensive especially for non domestic imports like the Marauder.

No, that's my Dad's side of the family.
Technically it's "Mrs."
