What are those trunk lid organizers? It looks like it might be kind of useful to be able to store some stuff up on the lid rather than on the floor, but I can't tell from the picture how the thing actually works. Anybody have one of these things?

For those of us not aware of the benefits of the skid plates, pls share what you know about them for our Panthers. I had a closeout panel on an old Toyota yesrs ago, but I'd like your take on the benefits to us MM owners.
How/where do they mount? How much weight? Etc.
