2ND ANNUAL 3RD OF JULY MARAUDER PARADE

Hey all,


July is just around the corner and I wanted to see who is interested in representing Mercurymarauder.net in Benicias 3rd of july parade!! Unfortunately my car was down in 2016 so I did not make arrangements to be in the parade. However it is 2017 and I am more than ready!! Last time was an absolute blast and if you can make it I highly suggest you come!


we will be meeting up at 5pm sharp, july 3rd at the benicia clock tower. address is: 1189 Washington St, Benicia, CA 94510

PLEASE check in to this thread july 2nd or sooner to confirm whether you are coming or not!

Information for that day:
"4. Parade will begin at First and D Streets, Downtown Benicia. Parade
check-in is located at East Second & B Streets. You will receive your
entry number and lineup information when you register the day of the
parade. Check-in starts at 5:30 PM. Parade entry number should be
placed on the left side for the judges viewing stand.
5. Parade will start promptly at 6:30 PM. "

I think we should all try to arrive at the meet up spot 5:00PM. and roll out 5:15. I will get into more specifics such as meet up spot etc once we have a head count.

I need to know a final head count by this coming monday 6/19!

Like I said last time we did this we all had a great time. After the parade we all convoyed to SONIC drive in for some dinner, that in itself was fun :D

Honestly, myself for being an idiot on this one. I've been driving since I was 15, I'm now 25 and have never done such an idiotic thing as back up and slight turn without looking. Granted I hit my own truck and of course nothing happened to truck.

Have you tried Pops a Dent? I had a good experience once getting a dent like that to pop back into shape using that kit.

Cut yourself some slack. My wife, son and I have backed into our cars 5 times overs the last 15 years. One was while arguing with my wife and the backup sensors blaring their warning.

Also shut the garage door TWICE on my SUV opened rear window - glass shatters and goes everywhere. The second time I did it I punches the wall and broke my thumb. Had to have surgery.

There was a huge vacuum leak so I ordered one, thankfully future ford in Roseville has one and am on my way right now

It was fun. Not so much for the wife, but kids and I had fun.

I watched a lot of young kids covering their ears as the motors were roaring. Of course my kids asked why mine does not sound like that .... I just looked st my better half, and she said 'no'! :)
