Everyone: Thanks for all the recent chatter on tires. I'm going with Nitto. Now the steering wheel leather wrap is really worn on my 2004 MM. Have 217 K and sits out in the sun so really wearing. I found an after market outfit who I dealt with previously for after market headlights and was very pleased called CARiD. The link below has the wrap from a company called wheelskins. Any suggestions and if you have replaced one are they easy to do ? I assume you just cut the thread on the existing wheel and it comes off then put new one on and sew it up or am I oversimplifying ?

wheelskins generally go over existing wrap. better to look for a good used wheel, you can transfer your airbag.

In the same boat, PO must of eaten pizza in the car, steering wheel is destroyed. Apparently rewrapping a steering wheel is nearly impossible with all the spokes our wheel has. Steering wheel has to be taken off. Special stitching, thread, tucking leather and thread, its a pain. Ive looked into it and professionally is what most people are saying for it to look good but its like 200 bucks. Once done post pics
