Quick Question will the Borla Cat-back for a 03-11 Crown Vic fit the MM? I know the exhaust tips weren't designed for the MM rear bumper, but that could be easily fixed..

its a 2.25 system for that Borla system, you will be going smaller diameter pipes than normal

Most of the MM exhaust is 2 1/4 from Mercury except the mid-pipe area that chokes down to 2". The MM system flows pretty well from the get-go. Replace the mid-pipe 2" stuff with 2 1/4" for full flow. Then listen to YouTube for what muffler to get for sound. Removal of the rear cats and if you can find a set of non-resonated tips that will give you some sound as well.
If you still want more StainlessWorks offers a cat back system or the whole shebang that is all mandrel bent. Check out their website and they are vendors here as well.

Exactly!!! Im trying to find a decent Cat-back system.. By any chance, does anyone make a shorty header kit for the MM ?
Im currently on the fence of replacing the rusty Cats for the Magnaflow replacement kits. any have experience with these ?

the cv borla system may fit, it will prolly need some fab work at the collector. it wont be a bolt on only type install. it may need other adjustments.
there are no shorty headers for marauders, shorty cobra ones have been usex but they are discontinued and crack. there are no carb approved headers. shorty headers don't add anything either
contact member martyo here thru vendor section, Mo's speed shop, he can give you a tune that will wake up the car and improve the factory shift schedule.

Just get the stainless works cat back. Some modifications will have to be done to make your rear cats match up where collectors would normally be. P/N MAUEX

Im trying to find a decent Cat-back system..What exactly are you trying to accomplish? The Marauder already has a "decent cat-back" from the factory. Steve Babcock told us at the Chicago Marauderville that they spent a lot of time at Faurecia getting it right.
By any chance, does anyone make a shorty header kit for the MM ?Don't bother...shorty headers are worthless and unreliable. Go for Stainless Works or Kooks long-tubes

SW are not CARB approved, dont think Kooks are either.
