Hey guys, im really looking into doing the a big brake upgrade to my marauder, the biggest problem i have is the fact during winter i use the 16" PI steel wheels to get around. I believe there may be a clearance issue with upgraded brakes. Can anyone confirm this?
Im not sure which kit i want to go with yet, im just concerned that i will not be able to put my winter tires on once i upgrade the brakes.
Any info would be great.

I can tell you one thing...you'll NEVER get 16" wheels on a Marauder with the Baer Brake kit...clearance on the OEM 18" is about 1/16 with the calipers. Try Dennis' KVRs which are modified OEM rotors.

That's affirmative. All of us that got the "Winter Tire Package" from DTD know the little clearence for the stock brakes we had with the 16" steel rims.

If you absolutely want to go to the Bear brakes, I know that "Blue Oval" is running some new Bridgestone snow tires on an extra set of unpolished 18" rims for the winter. There is also a 17" snow tire set available with a wide variety of rim choices. Wouldn't be enough clearence for the 14" Bear, but maybe for the 13" Wilwood being sold here.

Good luck !
