Due to a spin-out on a wet road, my front bumper is now cracked around the 3 little bottom pillars. I'm terrified of wasting money on a *****y aftermarket one. Anyone have a oem one for sale?

I think urethane bumpers are pretty fixable as long as they're not punched or torn. I'd see what a reputable body shop says before I threw down for a whole replacement. Glad to hear you're ok and the worst case scenario was avoided.

If you have all the pieces it can be fixed.

+1 on what the group is saying here. If you have all of the parts, then definitely try to have it repaired and save the OEM front bumper cover.

Wow, thanks guys. I just figured broke was broke. That will save some money. Right now it is still all together, all pieces are there. I talked to my mechanic and he said "yeah, I'd just epoxy the **** out of the back." Is that what the body shop will do?

No, take it to a professional bumper repair shop. The will weld it back together.

Like Fordnut mentioned they will weld it up (if they're a good shop) Most people don't realize you can weld most all plastics. Just in my welding school we carried at least 8-10 different filler rods for various types of plastic and that was years ago.

You can weld plastics??? Wtf? I never heard of that before in my life. Wow, today I learned. Yeah, i'm going to a real body shop guy, he did a good job on my rear quarter rust.

Welding plastics came in handy when GM introduced their plastic minivans in the 90's. You don't think insurance pays for a whole quarter panel do you? Keep your OEM bumper, fix, blend, clear. Have a seamless repair and your VIN decal still of it.
