Looking for feedback on Cooper Zeon RS3A tires...

I'm looking to replace my current tires and would appreciate some member feedback on Cooper Zeon RS3-A™ (http://us.coopertire.com/Tires/Performance/ZEON-RS3-A.aspx) tires. They seem to be one of the few tires out there that I can purchase in both the front and rear stock sizes, thanks in advance! :beer:

No Cooper experience, great experience with Nitto Motivo in correct sizes. Not many brands have the exact size for the Marauder.

I had them on mine and loved them. They were great in the rain, were very quiet and wear was very good.

Right sizes, reasonable prices, local dealer services my car ususaly gratis, tire life OK. I'm a slow driver, 40 to 60 MPH range, very few highway miles at this point in my marauders life.

Mostly drive my wife's KIA, 70 to 80 Hwy, just put on the 1st set of replacement tyres, same as OEM. lasted 86K miles, Pirelli's scorpion verde, all season.

I had a set of Coopers on a medium SUV and the amount of wt it took to balance them was disturbing, however they worked out aok.

My RS3A's were just installed last week with less weight than the tires they replaced.

A 700-mile road trip yesterday finds them to be quiet as can be yet incredibly responsive. The faster you go, the more you like them.

Do not pass on them.

Caveat; I am running Nitto 404s on the back and Coops on the front




And I just remembered I had a full set of RS3A's on my DTR Marauder. Wet traction was awesome.

Have them on my crown vic, great tires, wear very well, quiet, and some of the best handing and traction in the rain, Decent in the snow too. For the price I'm very impressed

I have them on the front of my Marauder for over 2 years now. They ride nice & no issues .

On my second set all four, third set on the rears. They look good and ride good.

Two sets in past years on the MM . Soon to put a set on the 15 mustang with only 20 thousand miles ,but I like the Cooper's over the factory Optima's.

Just bought the correct sizes and had them installed two weeks ago, love them so far.

Thanks to all of you for the honest feedback, it looks like the RS3A's in stock sizes are the way to go for my application! :beer:


Much appreciated is the feedback that in the wet they perform well since I've never been happy w/ the KDWS's currently on her! :(

I was finally able to order a complete set of RS3A's, unfortunately since the sizes are staggered, it's going to take 3-5 business days for delivery to my local tire shop; fronts and rears ship from different warehouses. :(

I am on my 2nd set of ZEON RS3-A's

They are the best (overall) OEM replacements I have found, BUT,

forget about using them in snow - NOTHING beats a proper snow tire

Thanks for your input on their snow performance GreekGod but snow isn't an issue for me since I've never taken her out in the snow. :)
