For the Eaton swap guys with a 5 speed, what gears?

Seems pretty specific but im about 95 percent ready to throw this blower on and already have the 5 speed in. Had 4.10 since the auto and loved em. Now with the manual they are pretty low in first. Already feel like 1st is useless. With the blower I'm worried I'll row through em too quick and miss out on all that torque because I'm shifting all the time. A little about my driving style. I never track the car, I rarely peel out. I don't plan on street racing, but I want to leave nothing on the table if I decide to get in it. Mpg isnt really a concern so if I had to give up performance for 1 or 2 Mpg I'll take the performance.
Anybody have some advice? Thanks in advance.

Is that on the 99 Vic? Riley still likes the 4:10s but still it's a six speed. I've suggested 3:73 for a test and he looked at me like I was nuts. So the GeForce to the back of the seat wins.

09 vic yes. I have just bought a set of 3.73s and was considering pulling the 4.10's but not thinking I might put the 3.55 back in.

I ran 4.30's with a 6 speed and a Trilogy and had no issue. I went down to a 4.10 for a meatier pinion (I sheared all the teeth off the 4.30 in first.. Quite a bit more torque than an auto) With the 4.10 and a roots, and now an F1-A Procharger I have no issue crossing a four lane intersection and hitting 35 before shifting to second in normal driving.

Obviously first is a waste with my set up under WOT. A quick pop to second and I can smoke em all the way to 3rd at 75. Then at the top of third she gets squirrelly again. Traction is king and I lack that..

Good point keep the 4:10 and get good tires, not
Nt555 but nt05.
After you smoke 1200 bucks in sticky rear tires you tend to be a little more selective where you leave rubber.
