Hey all been awhile since i posted since my car has been down for a bit over a year now. So I got a rebuilt motor from a place that a friend recommended Ford Reman with 30k miles on it. Long story short realized the motor is a 8 bolt crank so i ordered http://www.jegs.com/i/PRW/228/1828111/10002/-1 . Now the concern i am having which may not be warranted at all. When i lay the new flexplate over the old all the crankbolt holes don't align. All but two align. Also the motor didn't come out of a marauder I thought it was a mach 1 motor until i saw Nodular on the flywheel. Again not as experienced as the many here but doesn't that mean it has a nodular(forged) crank and internals meaning its a cobra motor? Thanks for the time and any help.

8 bolt would be from a manual transmission, usually, also try every hole combo on the flywheel.

This^ IIRC It only fits one way.

I hope the tooth count is an error because we have a 164 tooth I believe..

Yes I believe it's a typo when I search the same part number on other websites I get 164 tooth
