I have a 2003 Marauder with a Vortech super charger on it from Dennis Reinhart I believe he stuck a different cooling fan on it # 3R33-8C607-AA it is from a Mustang. My cooling fan blade broke so I ordered that part # from Ford and the electrical connector is 4 prong round and not square like the wiring harness.. The issue is the Bosch module controls the fan Bosch 1 137 328 115 with two wires going to the fan motor the new fan has 3 wires.. I took the plug off the old one and put on the new fan and now the fan runs non-stop. so now the old shroud has a new fan blade but my electrical wires are a mess, but its working properly now.. I would like a new fan set up that works with the Marauder square plug with the Bosch module Can anyone help. I have pictures but don't know how to post them. Kelly

ya three wires from the square plug then the module then two wires to the fan. the new one has three wires with one going to and then back frome some kind of relay then three wires to the fan. and no matter how I configured the wires it always had juice to the fan.

He used a standard Marauder fan blade, motor, and controller. Took them off the shroud and put them on a Mustang shroud.

where would be the best place to order the Marauder motor and controller as a one piece unit, new fan blade and shroud I have now..

I'm not doubting FordNut's knowledge on the subject, but I had a DR vortech that MO's installed in 2013 and I got a whole new fan assembly with a mustang part number and still have the Maraduer fan. in basement. The fan had to be offset from center for the the unit to fit with the centri.
It's possible that DR's early kits were fabbed from mustang and Maraduer parts for the fan, but I think he could have made the mustang fan work..I used to have a parts list from DR for the contents of his kit. I don't think I have it anymore..

That may be true. I believe there is a parameter in the tune that tells the PCM if it is a relay driven fan or a PWM driven fan. DR may not have known about that in the early kits. I suspect the same is true with the Mk8 fan.

I don't have that car anymore or I would go look at it directly, Bought the trilogy car a year later and sold the vortech car.

module on the fan is what is needed with my pcm, with a fresh tune the mustang fan would work, ordered a replacement 2nd fan now from CARiD for parts for the mustang shroud.

And with aftermarket fan assemblies the controller is what fails. I've gone through several of them.
I bought the first kit. It's all the marauder guts stuffed in a mustang shroud

I am needing to change out my '04 fan due to it getting damaged as well and was wondering if any of you guys have any input on possible upgrades. I have a couple of Mark VIII fans, I am currently running one on my '66 F250 and it really moves some air. Since these fans are a Ford product could they be wired to operate correctly in a marauder. I appreciate any imput you guys have, thanks
