After going into the dealer last Thursday (trunk lid needed repainted do to a spot (looked chemical) right in the middle. Plus they had to replace the washer fluid hose running from the tank to the firewall. It was pinched during assembly.
Also, I posted about my passenger window switch not lighting up. Umm.. well... you see it only comes on if the window lock is in the unlock position (which somebody posted but I just got my car back to try it).
So far the paint job looks factory. It has been overcasted today so I can't really tell yet.
Just had to share it with somebody. My wife just thinks I'm nuts (course she is right).

Mine already has its first parking-lot ding in the driver's door...
I was able to polish the white paint off, but you can still see the little dent if you look from the right angle...
Maybe I should call up my buddy Billy Mays and order my very own "Ding King"... :bs:

You haven't seen the commercial??? It's hysterical...you know who Billy Mays is, right?...the OxiClean/Orange Clean guy? He does one for a product called the Ding King...it's two suction cups on a little rod, that you place on either side of a dent, then you screw down this third suction cup with some adhesive on it and it allegedly pulls the dent out...it's the $29.95 version of a professional body shop tool that probably costs hundreds... :bs: :censor: :bs:

The boss's kid bought that dent puller TV kit and said it worked? So I tried it on the Company P/U truck. You basically hot glue the suction cups to the car and apply the tool to pull it out after the glue cools.Three trys later I gave up.It was hard to lift small dents and is to small for larger ones?

cyled: "My wife just thinks I'm nuts (course she is right)." Know what you mean. My poor MM has had 2 hit's. One on the back bumper, fixed Ok the other one I took a hit on a high curb getting out of the way a "stolen" car being chased by local police, got a strach/dig on the rr wheel, no tire damage. The guy in front of me took out the pole. I was lucky.(he was not hurt, nice dent in his car).
