View Full Version : Eaton Swap MAF and IAT

Doing an Eaton swap. I upgraded to an SCT bigshot 3000 and MAF. It uses the same 6 pin connector as the stock Marauder. I know the Cobras use a different connector; like a 4 pin. Is that because the stock Marauders take IAT at the MAF and the Cobras measure at the manifold after the air is heated by the boost? My question is about wiring and the right MAF Sensor. I would assume you would want to measure IAT on the Eaton after boost, right? the IAT sensor that is taken after the boost. I ordered that MAF meter for a boosted application

I heard from somebody on this forum they were using the port on the manifold where the IAT sensor used to be for a boost gauge. If so, where were they pickup up IAT?

Hi Buck, theres a place for the iat2 in the base of the eaton or on the intake driver side in the back the outer two wires on the maf plug get ran to the iat2 location plug, boost gauge is a different port on the back of the blower

eaton Swap and IAT2 Experts

Does this pin out from the Marauder MAFIA to the Cobra IAT2 look correct?

I am moving the two outer wires off the Marauder and using two wires on the Cobra IAT2 on the blower manifold.

It was not clear to me which two wires go where, but I think this is it.

Would love a confirmation

Yes the outer two grey wires. Doesn't matter which one to which one on the lightning style IAT2 that you need to drill and tap. I can't recall the two wires used on the four wire Cobra iat/MAP sensor though if that's what you are using.
