Hey everyone, new guy here. Just picked up Gryphs 04 Silver Birch, so I'm a new Marauder owner and am excited to try and attend a group outing.
What kind of activities do you guys have planned for this event? I'm definitely considering packing the family up and making the small trip from Cleveland.

See post 18.
This meet is going to be a bit more casual as far as organization goes. The hotel will be the hang out place and members who come can pick and choose what they'd like to do.
The battlefield is very interesting, and if you've never been I highly recommend looking into it. Could take a whole day if you really like Civil War history.
I posted a few things after doing a short Google search of the area, but there is a lot of other stuff to do in the area. Hershey Park isn't to far as is the Harrisburg area.
We'll keep you occupied. :)

I sent for a visitors guide from the Gettysburg Tourist Board.
It arrived last week and I found it very informative.
There is a Dirt Track car, racing museum, only open on Fridays in November.
The Eisenhower farm is a nice tour, been on it before.
The visitors Center is a must see.
Walking the battlefields can be a bit much in November, so they also have bus and horse drawn carriages for the battlefield tours.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in Gettysburg. Eight of you have booked a room so should be a nice sized group! If anyone else wants one, call the hotel real soon. Our cut off date was yesterday but a few queen doubles are available when I checked with the hotel a few minutes ago. See you in Gettysburg!

I teach a college class from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM on the Thursday.
My plan is to hit the road by 11:00 AM so we can be at the hotel by 3:00 PM
It is a 3 1/2 hour drive from my house (done it several times).
I might need a gas stop, so I figured it into the travel time.

Lancaster isn't to far away if you felt like a little outlet shopping while near Rome. ;)

Hi All, Just got off the phone with Justin Bacon, the hotel rooms manager. He is arranging parking for our group and has given me a couple ideas for dinner in the area. For Thursday night, we will probably plan to eat at Pikes Restaurant which is next to the hotel. Mr. Man and I might not arrive til 7-7:30 so dinner would be closer to 8 pm for us. If some of you want to head to dinner earlier that is fine. We are looking forward to seeing everyone! Most of you prolly have my number so don't hesitate to call or text. If you want my cell, please PM me.
