Hi guys...
I need help with my stepson's 2001 Crown Vic trunk wiring.
My 2003 Shop Manuals are at my brother's house with my Marauder....:depress:

I'm looking for a switched 12VDC source in the trunk.
I found an unused plug/connector on the left hand side of the trunk near the fuel pump reset switch that has a switched 12VDC wire (dark green/yellow stripe as best as I can tell).
Weird thing is that the wire still shows .25 -> .30 VDC with the ignition off....?
Is that connector for the air ride suspension on air ride equipped cars?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Depending of what you need the power for, I would hesitate tapping into anything unless it's to trigger a relay or solenoid. There's also THREE different types of switched power; Accessory which is hot in ON and ACC (radio, wipers). Ignition which is hot in KEY ON and CRANK (Fuel, PCM) , and accessory which is hot only in KEY ON but dead during crank (HVAC). I would suggest running a fused wire from the steering column or from behind the radio (ACC). I wish I could help more.
