I see that car often on Jackson near DesPlaines - never have seen the owner though

Looks like he used about 40 cans of Plasti Dip. The "Special Edition" badge doesn't help, and that fact that it was in a Jiffy Lube shows the owner REALLY doesn't care about it.

Agreed. I've seen it with factory paint, red pinstripes, and those wheels probably eight years ago near a Berwyn car show I was attending.

Then there was one I posted here all blacked out and plastidipped on 294 N near Ohare early in the morning a couple of years ago. It appears to be a different car though.
