Hello everyone. I have been lurking and reading this forum during the last 6 months or so before pulling the trigger. Due to our weather here this will be a summer driver only. Vehicle originally came from Florida but he is doing fine so far. It feels great to be back in a V8 after about two decades of driving and servicing VW's. Need to deal with getting drl installed to get it properly on the road now. I am very interested in finding out build number etc and found some information in here, but as a suggestion it would be great if one of the more experienced users could get a "starter check list" going, outlining the process of obtaining all the "numberstuff"!?
Anyhow, very nice to be on board!

Welcome fellow Canadian! I only got my MM in June. As far as rarity goes, there were far less cars built for market here in Canada. Hope you have as much fun with your car as I am with mine...lol.

Still working on that question. Originally was going to drive mine....then circumstances regarding the body repair ended up in a complete paint job. Now I am feeling some hesitation about driving it in the salt. On the hunt for a winter beater that doesn't break the bank.

Welcome.
As far as finding out the sequence # of your car go to www.fordshowparts.com (http://www.fordshowparts.com) find the Certificates of Authenticity link, go to page 2 and click Marauder, then do whatever they want you to do. Have your vin # as they will need it. They send you a certificate with build date, sequence # and what # you are if you have a colored car w/in that color and a few extra ditto sheets with other interesting facts.

I drive mine year round, though wish I was more diligent with the anual Krown rust control.
DRL should be plug and play from any Canadian MGM or crown vic.
