What problems, if any, have you encountered while installing the SW headers on your MM?

Do you mean since the "fix" what problems, if any, have people experienced?

There were no issues with the header install. They retooled the exhaust.

I am just interested in the header install, not the complete exhaust. Problems could show up at: headers to engine, headers to steering knuckles/shaft, o2 bung locations, clearance around starter, etc.
Sounds like most are happy with the header fitment. Verdad?

you'll need to update your tune, not sure what manifolds you have now.

Headers were cake. No issues at all.

The only issue I ran into was the locking manifold bolts I used fit real tight into the heads. Had to run out and buy a tap to chase the threads. After that, no issues.

One more thing that wast really a problem but is worth noting is that one of the driver's side primary tubes juuuuuust clears the steering shaft. So close in fact that the shaft rubs on the heat tape I wrapped the headers in but not the tube itself. Some fine, close tolerance craftsmanship indeed!

I used new factory studs and nuts and factory gaskets. Absolutely no need for locking nuts.

You may have to grind a little metal off the steering shaft. Mine rubbed on the header.
