I decided it was time to sell my black 2003Marauder located on Long Island which has 153k miles on it. As the original owner I truly enjoyed my “oldman’s muscle car”, the absolute best car I ever owned. Now, as a senior citizen I thought it mightbe a good idea to move on.
This car is all original with the exception ofadding a K&N air filter. My Marauderwas always maintained and has no mechanical defects or body damage. However, this car like some other Marauders isplaguedwith the same paint issues on the hood, roof and trunk. The dealer had the top of the car recoatedwhen it was approximately3 years old but they shorted me on the clear coatwhich recently caused the finish to oxidize and crack again. This past winter while parked on ice anindividual took their pickup and spun an oversize front tire into my driver’sside door. Luckily there was no bodydamage and I’ve already purchased new fender and door moldings. The car will require a repaint at some point.
At 150k I had every fluid replaced in the car. Along with that service I had heavy dutyrotors and pads installed on all 4 wheels and new Goodyear Eagle tires mountedon the front. The BF Goodrich RadialT/As on the rear still has amble thread on them. Also serviced the K&N filter plusreplaced the PCV valve and fuel filter. Aroundthe same time I replaced the stereo radio with a recommended Audiophile unitused in the Ford Explorers. Like somehave said it is a better sounding unit then the original OEM one. I also purchased 2 new fog lights as onerecently met a stone.
Additional maintenance over the years include replacingthe rear wheel bearings while under warranty, replacing new rear shocks withOEMs, new wiper motor, plus I replaced a bad relay in the LCM. I also replaced the belt tensioner and one ofthe pulleys. The belt itself has beenchanged twice.
Asking $5000 OBO
