Blower blowing cold air on the floor when the car starts

Out of no where my car is blowing cold air on the floor when the car starts and I have no control to shut it off. All of the other selections work. It stopped after 5 mins but if I cut the car off and back on it starts again. Could this be the blower motor resistor gone bad?

No, a bad BCM will either be no fan or one speed fan. Sounds like there is an issue with the EATC or a vacuum leak.
