I got my shipment from Steeda today, and EVERYTHING FITS! This is the first phase of an engine dress-up project that will eventually include polished valve covers, polished Ford Racing wire covers, billit aluminum cap covers for Oil, Coolant, Power Steering, and Brake fluid, a billit aluminum fuse box cover, as well as the carbon fiber air intake. And soon you will be able to look down below all this bling and see my new SVO shorty headers. Woaw. Now all I gotta do is keep it as clean as Todd's engine room, and it'll be schaweet!

Check out the gallery for more pictures....

I went to AGE Classic Mustang here in town one Friday here about 2 months ago. Since nobody actually lists anything as fitting the Marauder, the sales guy and I went thru his stock, and I got everything he had that fit. I ended up with a billet oil fill cap, a chrome overflow lid cover, a chrome master cyclinder cap, a chrome cover for the MAF. He said he thought several other Mustang pieces would work, but he was out of stock. Now I've just gotta get time to go back and see if he got the other stuff in!

I've been to steeda, and ofcourse they said they didnt have anything for the Marauder. But I would guess many of the items that would fit the Mach 1 would fit our car.

Ordered the wire covers today :pimp:

Also ordered a billit radiator cap cover, a billit fuse box cover, and for billit door lock pins (machined, not polished). And a bottle of Southern Shine Metal Polish:)

I'm reconsidering the polished valve cover idea. They are expensive ($500 from $ean Hyland), Scott hates putting them on, and I'm thinking the black OEM covers provide a nice contrasting color that brings out the beauty of the polished wire covers and the oil fill cap.

Has anyone tried getting the intake polished?

Oh, and cost of the wire covers shown on the Ford Racing website is $249 for the pair, but I paid $209 for the pair from a FRP dealer in the ATL area. I would think Dennis Reinhart can order these for you, or Kenny Brown, as they are Ford Racing dealers, right?

These are new items, so unless you've been by recently, they were right that they had nothing that would work on a Marauder. I investigated what these covers WOULD fit, and they looked identical to the parts in Maraurders. Also, when you order, you specify the car you're putting them on, and if there's a problem, they call you. I didn't get any emails or calls, so when the box arrived I had a real strong belief they would fit. And of course, they do.

It didn't occur to me that Dennis Reinhart is a Steeda dealer, and that I could have saved a lot of time and trouble calling him first (and maybe some bucks ordering from him). I just jumped off the bridge and ordered from Steeda's website, paying full MSRP. I would recommend anybody wanting to order these items to give DR a call and see what he can do for you.

It's not a kit, per se. All these parts fall under the "Billit and Chrome Accessories" section of their catalog, or under "Mustang" and then "Dress up items" on their web site. Again, I recommend trying Reinhart to see if he can save you some bucks since he is a Steeda dealer.

The UPS guy brought my second Steeda shipment today!:banana2:

This round... coolant resevoir cap cover, shock tower covers, EGR sensor control cover, machined aluminum door lock pins, and polished aluminum fuse box cover.

Only the fuse box cover would not fit. It is slightly smaller than the Marauder box, and probably could be machined to fit. I'm returning it though.

The shock covers are not a perfect fit and require some adjustment (a small hole drilled on top to clear the rod), and I may do this.

The coolant resevoit cap cover fits perfectly, as door the door lock pins. The EGR Sensor control cover fits, but i put a small amout of tape under it to make it more snug.

Pics in the gallery, though the engine bay is still dirty from the rain this week.

Donny,

Let us know when you install the wire covers...I really think they will look sharp.
