Definately a serious sharp open check book build.Overall package is up to date and fuel efficient and gross weight is lightened considerabely which ofsets the lower than original torque figure.. In looking at update mod's at
Ford Nationals, this past June there were two Mark 8 Coyote conversions from the Lincolns of Distinction club on display that looked factory.
The future is NOW.

Most likely the only time a 4v engine will look small under the hood.

Put it under a Mark V hood & it will probably look like a V6!

Don't like how they "modernized" the dash and took the REAL wood appliques out...and eliminated the 460, and, and, and...

Really nice Lincoln RestoMod!

but....I agree...nowadays 460 V8s are easy and relatively cheap to make into badazz big blocks.

Edelbrock
AFR
Blue Thunder
and Jon Kaase all offer killer cylinder heads that make the 460 (or 521 heh heh heh :D) what it should be...a monster motor!

With all the money that was spent on a puny 4.6L + supercharger making 403 HP/343 Ft Lbs, you could be well north of 550 HP/600 Ft Lbs.

and you can't break a C6!

Well Said MASTER Sensei Walsh. I'm pushin right at
400 hp on a budget , with lightly massaged heads [exhaust ports] ,Quick fuel 750 cfm carburation over the factory motorcraft 615 cfm and updated ignition system and A&P factory sound Ford performance mufflers .

Nicely done, but certainly not my cup of tea.

I like it more than I would have thought. I too think the interior was taken too far for my liking and I prefer the old torque monster's in these big cars. Wonder if this thing can get out of its own way.

Sweet looking ride! Too bad it is green. Motor looks oddly familiar.
I'd be interested at $19,000. Not sure it could fit in ANY garage.

I like that green, sure there were better colors back then but that's a perfect period green.

They are actually not the big...A Mark V dwarfs them at near 20ft long...

+1!

I don't normally like green colored vehicles...but that is a cool late 60s -> early 70s green

The old brown and bronze colors are starting to look better as time marches on.

Yep. I used to back mine in the garage till the back bumper touched the back wall studs and then close the garage door which would stop on top of the front bumper. Sucked clearing blowing snow out of garage but still was better than parking outside.

At one time, I owned every year of Mk III, at once. The best car ever for smoothness on the freeway.

Mk III and Mk V - best Lincolns ever made!

Wasn't a Lincoln but I owned a 63 300 convertible...was 22.5 feet long. Had to replumb water pipes in the garage so it would fit...bumper to bumper it nearly touched both ends.
