At least a Marauder made the list.

Odd they did not include the 2003 and 2004 when they do include a 1994 Impala SS

That is a great list, you can't argue with any of those cars on there.
I would say though a few are in fact quite rare (and valuable) but are well known. I guess its semantics. A Superbird is odd and rare but even many non-car people know those (and if its on there then the Daytona should be) .
What I like is the satellite, wildcat, 2+2, firebird, biscayne, original demon etc. the cars that aren't hugely popular but are rarely seen and still very cool.

I see way more SS impalas than I do Marauders. I see at lest 2 or 3 a day. Since moving to SoCal I have seen 1 Marauder.

Oddly enough, I've seen far more Marauders around this area, although not a lot by any means.

That's because they built more than 69,000 SS Impalas during 1994-1996 timeframe. There still should be more than 7,000 of them on the road after 20+ years of attrition. That's about 3 times the amount of Marauders estimated to remain ... That seems to jive with your observations of 3 to 1.

Where is "this area"? Your profile doesn't tell me where you are.
