Tear Drop Hood

So Ive been reading some posts and saw a couple cool custom hoods on here. Im just about done freshening up the suspension with just the front end to go. I was thinking of graphing a tear drop scoop to the hood. Just wanted to gather opinions before I start the work, which wouldnt be until next week or so.

I don't think it will look right on the 03-04 model body lines imo

Interesting, I have wondered the same thing. Could the tear drop hood scoop be made to look cool on the 2003 or 2004 Marauder. I think maybe it could....

it's different so it would be cool if it would blend in and not look out of place.

The Marauder hoods are very square, tear drop imo wouldn’t look right. I was thinking make it a tad bit longer wider and taller to complement the lines a tad more. I really like the Class Glass power bulge and was gonna mess around with the idea if some of y'all were interested.

I don’t sorry, but just look up “Ford bronco hood scoop” this specific scoop should pop up often

The only teardrop hood "scoop" pictured is the 2nd post that shows a red Mercury - and it wasn't even really a scoop - it allowed hot engine compartment air to escape/vent, during idle time, and (supposedly) allowed cooler air from low pressure area at the base of the windshield to feed the carburetor(s) at speed.

My custom hood from Class Glass is due by mid-November. I submitted a design for a two step, gradual slopes with the cowl part having a gentle rise vs step one. Once the hood arrives, I will share pics.
