So just bought new pads, drilled and slotted rotors, and TCE brake lines. Can't wait to install when they get here

I bought the same rotors and pads. Definitely great stopping power. You will like it. Have yet to get the TCE brake lines. Let me know what you think of the brake lines.

Guys, I just did a similar install: slotted rotors, pads, and TCE lines onto the stock system.
Munster, the TCE lines give a nice improvement in firmness of pedal, they were worth it for me. I think you will be happy with them.
My pads and rotors were StopTech, I'm sure quite similar to the Summit stuff.
Be very careful about breaking them in. It's kind of a Catch-22: If you want to have better brakes immediately, you normally have to go through a systematic stopping process to assure that the break in correctly. This process demands a lonesome stretch of road with little or no traffic. Read the instructions that come with your pads.
If you can't find such an environment, you have to drive delicately for a long time, driving like Grandad on a Sunday.
I drove like Paw Paw for a month until I finally got out on Old Highway 90 and was able to get them broken in. It's kind of a weird feeling: You buy better brakes but until they're broken in, you must drive like you don't have any at all.
Now that mine are broken in, I think it was a good improvement for the budget. I painted the stock calipers along the way and the looks at the wheel are much improved. They do not, however, look like the Brembos or other premium brands, the castings are rough and the paint doesn't shine. Still, glad I did it.

I like how Todd has a set of SS lines he says are for "Zack kits" :D

So the lines came in. Summit hasn't shipped the rotors and pads yet because they don't have the rebuild kit in stock. Do I need to buy that or can I just cancel the order. Want to hurry up and get everything done before I pick it up for the winter.

You don't need the rebuild kit assuming your calipers work.
