I bought oem and they come with the retainer clips you will likely need that are $5 each purchased separately. I paid @ $100 per side. I'm happy I did it.

I have brand new side plastic oem covers. Came with clips. :-)
So I知 just wanting the best rockers I can get. Perhaps ford still makes them ?

You're talking about the metal?

Can these even be replaced easily or is this a cut and weld job?

Definitely cut and weld, would have to drill the spot welds out and weld the new ones one. I知 surprised nobody has done this before they are one of the first parts to get crusty.

They do make an epoxy for bonding rockers. It is a necessity in applications such as newer trucks that have the cabs filled with foam and it's not weldable. Body guys that I know trust it 100%. I've never had any dealings with it personally.
