Has anybody used this power adder from Sparta for their 3.5L Ecobbost?
Mine is a MKS but a SHO or Flex will can also use it.

Havent used it, but am interested I have the MKS ecoboost also. Any idea of horsepower added? How about control for the automatic transmission?

Well, My understanding is that it speeds up the foot to electronic throttle response. If you want more power try a proven tuner and intake pipes and do away with the factory noise silencer pipe system.

I believe Rich (Magindat) had some tuning done on his SHO and made around 400HP. I don't see much activity from him around here unless somebody knows what mods he had otherwise. I can put you two in contact, though.

If only their were go-fast goodies for the new 2.7L TTV6 Ecoboost Fusions...

It seems that I've bought yet another relatively rare car that no one supports with aftermarket parts.

I'll get a good tune and maybe the Steeda CAI kit and (hopefully) be happy with low 13s.

BTW: I've looked at the JMS 'piggyback' module for the Fusion Sport...and I don't get how it is better than a good dyno tune...:dunno:

The goodies should be the same as the F150 and the Edge.

Joe, if you want some go fast parts check out( www.unleashedtuning.com or www.facebook.com/UnleashedTuning ) they do tuning for your Fusion. Most Fusion Sport owners are reporting 1/4 mile times of 12.5-12.9 with just a 93 octane tune or E30 tune. (not sure if they did plugs and 3bar map sensor as it might already come with it like the F150 2.7TT).

The JMS stuff is alike performance tune for your car but easier to return to stock for warranty issues.

I've got a 2013 MKS EcoBoost, tuned by Torrie @ Unleased which required a 3bar map sensor upgrade and new plugs gapped at .028 (stock is .035). So if I need to return the car to stock, reflash with the stock tune, reinstall the stock 2bar map sensor and hope it runs fine with the smaller gaped plugs. Also have a MDesign carbon fiber CAI.

I plan on going to Mason Dixon once the average temps are in the 50's and should be able to do high 12s easily. :burnout:

Hey Chris!
How've ya been?

You see what you got me into!
lol

Let me know when you are planning on heading out to Mason Dixon.
I want to run the Fusion Sport on 93 octane and see what the lil' 2.7L can do bone stock.
With the recent cool morning temperatures, I can already feel the difference in performance!

Just last night I walked a pesky Audi who thought that my 'black rent-a-car' would be easy pickings!

I've been good, just stupid busy with work and life crap. How have you been?

No one twisted your arm to get the Fusion Sport, no one is twisting it again to get a tune either but OMG what a difference the tune made in my car. It definitely performs better from a dig than a roll but it just pulls and pulls.

I'll definitely let you know when I have an idea of going to Mason Dixon.
